Visit Charlestown Navy Yard for a chance to tour the oldest commissioned warship afloat in the world, the USS Constitution.  The Constitution was launched in 1797 and is one of six ships constructed under the order of George Washington.  Tours are scheduled every 30 minutes starting 10am.

For families with children touring Boston, the Children’s Museum may be of interest.  The museum focuses on instilling appreciation of the world, and encourages the development of foundational skills as well as lifelong love of learning in children.  Open Mon-Thurs at 10am – 5pm, and Friday 10am – 9pm.

You may also be interested in the Museum of African American History, the Museum of Fine Arts or take a tour of The State House.  Other museums of interest include the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum where everyone named Isabella can sign up for a lifetime free admission.  Those celebrating their birthday by going to the museum are also granted free entry.
